installs a patch to a standalone machine : The command should be run
from where this patch directory is

The following example removes a patch from a standalone system:

For Portal Server specific patch information and patch installation instructions, 
refer to the included patch release notes file, rel_notes.html,  located inside of 
the patchID directory once the file has been unzipped.
 
The patch release notes include must read information including a features
overview, installation information and requirements, and template and flatfile 
modifications made to files not listed in the Files Included section above.  
Additionally, the patch release notes provide useful tips and suggestions on how 
to make use of new features as well as best practices suggestions for  Portal Server 
mainenance.
