Stop Calendar Server services before installing.
- The prepatch and postpatch logs can be found in the 
  <install_root>/SUNWics5/cal/install/patch/<patch-id>/ directory.
 
 
Notes on Free Disk Space:
 
  The Calendar Server patch requires at least 10% free disk space in
  the /var and /opt (or <install_root>) partitions.
 
  If there is not enough free space available, the patchadd command may 
  fail to complete.  If the patchadd command fails to complete, the 
  patchrm command may also fail.
 
  If the partition goes below 10% while the patch is being installed, a 
  failure may occur.
 
  Unfortunately, the space checking mechanisms in the patch (including the 
  dry run) do not detect this condition and prevent this failure.
 
  If this failure is encountered, it may be necessary to remove other files 
  from the partition to get above the 10% level, to successfully run the
  patchadd command (or patchrm command).
 
  For further assistance with this problem, please contact Oracle Support 
  via My Oracle Support SR.
 
 
Patching from Calendar Server 6.1 also requires upgrading shared components. 
Please consult the Java Enterprise System 3 upgrade document for details.

created by earlier versions. In order to use the DB created by 121658-19 (or prior) with this patch, the
data needs to be updated by following the below procedure.
 
1> Make sure the calendar installation is 121658-19 or prior.
2> Take a copy of the current DB
3> Check to make sure the DB is in good condition by running db_verify and csdb check
4> Dump the data using db_dump
	Set LD_LIBRARY_PATH to <calendar_install_path>/SUNWics5/cal/lib
	eg: ./db_dump -r -f /var/opt/SUNWics5/dump/ics50alarms.db.txt /var/opt/SUNWics5/csdb/ics50alarms.db
	Do the same for all the DBs.
5> Apply this patch (121658-24 or later)
6> Load the data dumped in the above step to the DB files using the cs_dbload provided in this patch.
	Set LD_LIBRARY_PATH to <calendar_install_path>/SUNWics5/cal/lib
	Run cs_dbload to load files dumped in step <4>

The fix for these two bugs involves changes in the mail format file for different languages.
The filename is mail_eventrequest.fmt and it resides under
<install_root>/SUNWics5/cal/config/<lang>/. However, the patch
will not update them automatically. The new format files will be placed under
<install_root>/SUNWics5/cal/lib/config-templates/<lang>/ directory. Administrators
will have manually merge these files to the files present under 
<install_root>/SUNWics5/cal/config/<lang>/. If there are no customizations made to 
the current format files, you can simply replace them with the new files.

1. Set "local.ssldblegacy" in ics.conf to "0" to turn off the legacy DB mode.

3. Create file containing just the password for the key database with no extra
newline, call this "pwfile".
4. certutil --merge -d sql:. -f pwfile --source-dir . -@ pwfile

7. Change the ownership of the newly created db (cert9.db, key4.db and pkcs11.txt) to calendar runtime user/group (icsuser/icsgroup).
