The following example removes a patch from a standalone system:

NOTE 1:  Reboot the system after patch installation or patch removal.
 
NOTE 2:  If after the patch is installed the current running copy of
         rpc.metad coredumps for any reason, SMF should restart the
         patched copy automatically.
