Please refer to the man pages for instructions on using 'patchadd'
and 'patchrm' commands provided with Solaris.
 
The following example installs a patch to a standalone machine:
 
       example# patchadd /var/spool/patch/123456-07
 
The following example removes a patch from a standalone system:
 
       example# patchrm 123456-07

other special or non-generic installation instructions should be
described below as special instructions.


Special Install Instructions:

NOTE 1:  A new command line option can be supplied on the OBP boot command-line
         and passed to wanboot (automatically) to suppress all boot progress
         messages during the miniroot download.
 
         Example boot command at the OK prompt:
 
         boot net -o quiet - install
 
         When the miniroot is loading you will see the following messages but
         all download progress messages will be suppressed:
 
Mon Feb 3 18:00:48 wanboot info: miniroot: Beginning download in quiet mode
- Please wait.
 
Mon Feb 3 18:02:53 wanboot info: miniroot: Download complete
