-----------------------------

NOTE 1: SYNOPSIS
/usr/bin/pwd [-LP ] [--logical] [--physical] [--help]

        OPTIONS
The following new options are supported:

        -P, --physical

Display the physical name of the working directory. This
is the default option if none is specified.

        -L, --logical

Use the PWD environment variable as the name of the
working directory, if possible, even if it is a symbolic
link. PWD must not contain "dot" or "dot-dot" components
and must point to the current working directory if it is
a symbolic link. If these conditions are not met, -P
            behavior is assumed.
