Problem Description:
14933330 getlogin causes passwd to fail if login name is longer than 8 chars
15059729 logname(1) prints out only part of long login name
(from 151149-01)
15307009 NFS cookies with bit 31 and up set can trigger various tell/seekdir(3c) issues
